We offer free, complete and comprehensive exams which take 45 minutes to one hour. During this time we will determine if treatment is necessary and if so, the best and most appropriate time to begin. Our goal is to help you understand the treatment options and address any concerns or questions you may have. We do not routinely take x-rays as part of our consultation but rather we take them only if required to make a diagnosis. Consultations are FREE and no referral from your family dentist is required. Your complimentary consultation will give you the opportunity to meet our team, as well as, learn more about orthodontics, receive a complete initial exam, and find out which treatment options will best meet your needs. During your complimentary consultation, Drs. Gordon Eckler, Mark Eckler, and Shane Black will:

• Review your dental and medical history forms.
• Provide a complete oral exam, to determine if treatment is necessary.
• Help you create a customized treatment plan.
• Discuss all financial information, insurance options, and payment plans.

What happens after the initial consultation?

If you do choose to receive orthodontic treatment, you will need to schedule your first appointment. Your first appointment is when you will receive your new orthodontic appliance. Typically, this appointment is no longer than one hour, and then you're on your way toward your new smile!

Our treatment approach only requires that you visit us every 8 to 12 weeks. This minimizes the number of visits to our office and decreases the discomfort for our patient.
